Leiah is a Family Nurse Practitioner.  

She is originally from Manila, Philippines, and has lived in Florida, California, Arizona, and Naples, Italy due her family’s military background, but finally settled in Florida in March 2013. 

She received her BA in Business, finance specialty, from The University of West Florida in Dec 2003, BS in Nursing from The Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in April 2011, and her MS in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty from Herzing University in Wisconsin in Aug 2017.  She has worked as a hospitalist nurse practitioner since Aug 2018 and an ER nurse practitioner since 2023.  Her background in nursing includes full time employment in the emergency department, intensive care unit, and progressive care unit.  

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, their children, her mom and extended family, and their family pet. She also enjoys traveling the world, values physical fitness and enjoys going to HITT and Zumba classes, running, cooking, and renovating rental homes with her husband.
